Holy Week here! join us as we begin Holy Week with our Palm Sunday worship at 9:30 and our popular brunch immediately following.  Join us again on Maundy Thursday for worship at 7pm, Good Friday Worship at noon (the sanctuary will be open for prayer until 3pm) and vespers at 7pm. Then, join us Easter Morning for worship at 9:30am no Bible studyPlease note the church office will be closed Good Friday and Easter Monday. 

Pastor Hinojosa would like to visit you and your families!  He is making time on his calendar for home visits on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s in the afternoons or evenings (1pm or 6pm). There is a sign up sheet in the narthex where we are asking you to please sign up for a visit time, being sure to select afternoon or evening.  This is a great opportunity to get to know Pastor better and talk with him about any concerns and your hopes and dreams for our church family! Talk with Pastor Hinojosa if you have any questions or have a special circumstance!

Gone, but not forgotten– Our beautiful handbells have been put away as we move to the most solemn part of this Lenten season. However, you can help bring back their joyful sounds if you join Karen, our music director, on Saturday, April 11 at 11am to try out these beautiful bells and create some joyful music for the Lord! No music reading is necessary!  Join in!  Talk with Karen after worship this weekend if you have any questions.

“A cheerful heart is good medicine…” Enjoy an evening of fellowship and laughter at the 10th AWPC  “LAUGH 4 Hope” comedy event on Friday, April 17, at Ward Church in Northville. Tickets can be purchased online (https://awpcfriends.org/event) or through the center. Help support this life-saving ministry. Doors open at 6 p.m. with show at 7 p.m.  and one may participate in the raffle with donations on display. Ticket price: $20 each or 2/$35. Laugh the night away.

April Movie Night!  Join us on Friday, April 24 at 5pm for a free pizza dinner, wonderful fellowship and a great film!  Our next feature is Seven Days in Utopia – A film about a young golfer who, after a disastrous debut on the pro circuit, finds himself unexpectedly stranded in Utopia, Texas and welcomed by an eccentric rancher. Plan to join us and bring a friend!

May 29—Forever Young: The Songs of America Join the Forever Young group for a patriotic concert by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra on Friday, May 29. The theme is “Songs of America” a great way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday! A bus will leave Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church at 9am for downtown Detroit. Payment of $72/person will cover your concert ticket and bus ride. There are 55 seats available on a first come, first served basis. Bring your own donuts, coffee provided at DSO! Make checks out Christ Our Savior, with Forever Young on notation line; and can be dropped off at the Christ Our Savior church office.  Call CoS with any questions.
